Our regular walk from my home tho the small church and back. Right there Hanna, my wife, grabbed my camera and click! She had no clue what exactly to do but it worked very well.

December #5
A visit to my mother from Bavaria, Germany to Tirol, Austria. First the Achensee, a lake in the Alps, then the Inn valley near Innsbruck in Absam. Churches and mountains everywhere. Why is it that a person who is not religious takes so many pictures of religious places? Well, these are the old places from times long gone by and they are more interesting than the modern places; at least to me. They stem from a time when church was everything.

A walk through the bogs in my vicinity, Bavaria, Germany. The trees are Scots pine, Pinus sylvestris, and birch, Betula verrucosa. The sign says 'true to old tradition'.
