The skiing season starts quite early this year. Today was the big day. Here a couple of shots on the way. All this is in the south of Bavaria, Germany. Alpine skiing in Tirol, Austria in case you are interested.

This is near Bad Toelz, Bavaria, Germany. The lake is the Isar lake. The orange trees are mostly Europena beech, Fagus sylvatica.

The river Isar is rather close to my home. It is the river that flwos through Munich, Germany. It is mainly in a natural shape still. I saw a couple of good Scots pines too today. But this is a natural resort. No permit possible there.
